Tracee Stanley is the author of the bestselling book Radiant Rest: Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation and Awakened Clarity and The Luminous Self: Sacred Yogic Practices & Rituals to Remember Who You Are (Shambhala Publications) and the forthcoming Living Ritual: Infuse Each Day with Purpose and Spirit. Tracee was featured in the GMA Inspiration List in 2021. Tracee is devoted to sharing the wisdom of yoga nidra, rest, meditation, self-inquiry, nature as a teacher, and ancestor reverence. Tracee has a deep interest in spiritual ecology and holds certificates from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Advanced Eco-Therapy, New Thinking, Best Practices, and Emerging Modalities, and a certificate in Advanced Ecopsychology. Tracee is gifted in illuminating the magic and power found in liminal space and weaving devotion and ritual into daily life.
Ever since I opened my first yoga studio in 2001 in Los Angeles, I have understood the power of community and practice to amplify the awareness of our infinite potential, allow us to live with purpose, to speak our truth, and to live with clarity.
In my offerings, I share the practices that have been most transformational in my life. These practices are sourced from the wisdom of yoga and Sri Vidya Tantra of which I’ve been a student for over 28 years.
Within each of us is a flame of eternal beauty, wisdom, and power. True wisdom and peace is a sense of remembered wholeness that can’t be attained in the external world. It’s an internal journey. When we weave our intentions into an expansive, ongoing practice, we honor life as a ritual that nourishes and transforms ourselves and the communities that we are part of.
Devotions & Inspirations
Community. We all belong. We belong to each other, to the Earth, and to our ancestors. Community is a place for us to heal, to love, and to envision the future.
Rest. Deep rest is our birthright. Creating opportunities to practice intentional rest, whether in solitude or in community, is a healing balm that awakens us to the power of our soul.
Self-Remembrance. Each of us possesses the inner wisdom that is the spark of divinity. Devoted practice allows us to experience remembered wholeness and wellness.
Life as a Sacred Ritual. Honoring the liminal space and creating intentional moments throughout the day to pause, reflect, and go inward amplifies the power of the transition as a portal to transformation and healing.
Nature. We are nature. Our body is the land of the Earth, and the land of the Earth is our body. Practices that reveal this wisdom to us are the medicine for these times.
